You'll help break the cycle of homelessness through personalized support, advocacy, and skill development.This role will work in across all programs and be involved with the three teams.This is a Casual Role and will require flexibility as these services operate 24/7 and may require nightshifts, weekends and public holidays.Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for client choice and independence.
- Contribute to care planning.
- Maintain high standards of conduct and performance.
- Ensure seamless service delivery.
- Actively engage in performance management and continuous improvement.
- Adhere to Uniting's values, policies, and procedures.
- Promote a safe and inclusive working environment.
- Certificate IV in Community Services, Mental Health, Youth Work, or a relevant field Ideal but not required.
- First Aid Certificate.
- 2+ years of experience working with Youth, Men's or Woman's and Children's Mental Health.
- Proficiency in working with vulnerable populations.
- Knowledge of best practices for Specialist Homelessness funded Services.
- Computer skills for timely and accurate client information.
- Identify and Respond to Risk of Harm training
- Cultural Awareness training
- Mental Health First Aid
