Our nurse-led telehealth clinic is situated at our Headquarters on the beautiful Gold Coast. Our clinic offers a supportive and engaging team culture and a company vision that you will be proud of.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Nurse/Clinic Manager, the Cannabis Nurse’s role includes:

  • Delivering continuity of patient care within the Nurse’s scope of practice, using evidence-based practice that is safe and in line with the Company’s guidelines and standards.
  • Undertaking consultations and risk assessments of people living with chronic diseases, formulating treatment plans, and assisting in setting treatment goals.
  • Educating patients on the use of Medicinal Cannabis and understanding the interactions with different body systems.
  • Understanding proper administration techniques in conjunction with the use of medical devices (when applicable).
  • Assisting patients with medication titration and tapering of dosages.
  • Providing holistic follow up care and troubleshooting problems with the patients' therapy.
  • Successful applicants will be based on-site at our Headquarters.
  • Willingness to learn, proactive and a positive mindset. 

ABOUT YOU: 

THINGS THAT WILL SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS

  • Current AHPRA Nurse registration – Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Prior medical practice experience with chronic disease management (highly desirable).
  • Excellent conversationalist and with exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively & efficiently within the interdisciplinary team.
  • A sense of urgency, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Understanding of disease pathology and chronic conditions is advantageous.
  • Superb note taking skills is essential.
  • Interest in keeping up with current research is highly beneficial.
  • Have a current (or ability to obtain) a National Police Certificate.
  • Passionate & Positive mindset.
  • 2+ years Registered/Enrolled Nursing experience highly regarded.
