Member & Corporate Communications @ Australian Unity
The Member Communications Manager leads the member value proposition (MVP) with a view to creating and sustaining a more engaged member cohort, while facilitating and supporting the implementation of Australian Unity Limited’s Member rules.
Australian Unity’s more than 370,000 members are customers of various products and services across our broad portfolio, including Private Health Insurance, banking and investments as well as our employees, retirement community residents and holders of our Mutual Capital Instruments.
This role will be responsible for developing a revitalised member engagement strategy, activating communications campaigns, monitoring engagement with the MVP and continuing to evolve the MVP based on member feedback and usage.
What you will do
Lead and execute the member value proposition by developing a member engagement strategy that optimises member engagement and complements existing customer and employee engagement and communications strategies
Manage the execution of the statutory Member Communications including the new member and Annual General Meeting communications
Manage member assets and channels including the My Real Wellbeing app, Member portal, Advanced Wellbeing Assessment and member webpage
Utilise member insights and NPS data to help inform the Member Value Proposition (MVP), engagement strategy and operational plans
Develop and execute a program of ongoing communications activities to encourage the engagement of members with the MVP
Continuous development planning for optimising and refining member engagement using digital channels
Report on the performance of activities and member insights to help inform future communication activities and strategies
Work collaboratively with other Australian Unity businesses and platform marketing teams to ensure a seamless experience for AUL members
Keep up-to-date with best practice Member Communications and reporting
About you
Extensive experience in a communications, marketing or related field or role
Experience with analytics or marketing measurement tools
Experience in content writing targeted to a specific audience
Preferred experience in creating customer/ member engagement journeys via marketing automation.
