About Us

Club Merrylands Bowling Group consisting of the Merrylands and Guildford Bowling Clubs, is expanding our frontline team. 

Our vision… to provide venues that benefit all members and the local community with an overriding aim to foster and support Lawn Bowls.

Position Summary

This is a permanent position 30-38 hours per week, the successful applicant must have the ability to work five shifts a week including weekends. 

As the Member Services Attendant (Reception and Concierge), you will act as our brand ambassador being the first touch point for our members and guests. Upon entry of our venue our members and guests will be greeted with your five-star service delivery. Your professionalism coupled with your friendly nature will leave our guest feeling welcomed and informed about their visit throughout the venue. 

About the Role 
  • Maintain legislative requirements including club entry, RSA & RCG standards.
  • Monitoring CCTV and reporting any issues to security.
  • Provide our customers with friendly informed directions and assistance.
  • Providing first class service to existing Members, sponsors, guests and visitors and their reception enquiries
  • Process Club memberships and renewals accurately
  • Up sell and promote club memberships, entertainment, promotions and events
  • General reception-based duties, including managing the switchboard, receiving payments, daily reconciliations, fielding enquiries, and accurate record keeping.
  • Administration assistance to the various departments. 
  • Upkeep of member database
  • Ensure work environment complies with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of reception area and facilities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Ability to enforce RSA and RCG requirements. 
  • Positive attitude

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry 
  • Availability weekends and early nights
  • Current RSA certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence.
