At the Guild, we are dedicated to creating professional connections and enhancing the experiences of our members. We're seeking a motivated and creative Membership and Engagement Officer to join our team and play a key role in our mission.
This is a full-time position and will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager.
What will I be doing?
- Develop, implement and execute strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team
- Cultivate relationships with members to understand their needs and interests, ensuring a personalised experience as the main point of contact for members
- Proactively manage all aspects of membership including assisting with membership campaigns and actively source opportunities to increase and retain membership
- Analyses engagement metrics and feedback to continuously improve our offerings and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and current records in the customer relationship management (CRM) database, including producing reports and training team members in the effective use of the database
- Identify ways to enhance high levels of member satisfaction and involvement
- Responsible for a smooth and timely membership administration process including personalised assistance and onboarding
- Prepare proactive content which is topical for members, supporting the Marketing and Communications team
What are we looking for?
- Proven experience in membership management, community engagement, or a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative engagement strategies.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Passion for fostering professional connections and enhancing member experiences.
- Previous experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) database (Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded)
- Qualifications in Business Administration, Communications or a related filed (or equivalent work experience)
- Work autonomously but also a team player - happy to pitch in with tasks outside their position

This role will be based in our modern offices in Spring Hill, Brisbane. Hours of work will be 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
