ABOUT THE COMPANY:Lotus People are delighted to partner with this leading organisation to find a part-time Membership Growth officer to start as soon as possible! Located at beautiful offices based in the heart of the CBD, this purposeful membership organisation provides advocacy and reform within its sector, working closely with in infrastructure, construction and energy markets. Playing a pivotal role in shaping public discourse and spearheading reforms in the national interest, you will be joining a collaborative, social team who are passionate about the work that they do.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As a Membership Growths Officer, you will be a crucial part of the Member Services team, dedicated to enhancing their membership network's engagement. You will be responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy. Working closely with the Head of Commercial and Industry Engagement, you will drive the identification of new markets and growth strategies, as well as lead the member conversion process.
DUTIES:
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing Members
Develop and execute a dynamic membership growth strategy
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of business products and the membership value proposition
Act as an advocate and ambassador for the company among senior sector leaders
Stay informed about industry trends and member interests through proactive research and team collaboration
ABOUT YOU:
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong business development skills, and the ability to take initiative and hold your own. You should be confident, an effective communicator, and comfortable working independently and conducting research.
Please note, for this role you will be required to travel interstate for events and networking opportunities.
- Proven experience in driving growth, sales, or account management (ideally within Infrastructure, Energy or Construction)
- The ability to conduct thorough and independent research
- A keen awareness of current affairs and trends in the Australian business, political, and economic landscape.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong relationship-building skills with demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior executives.
