What you'll be doing
Acting as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will provide assessment, psychosocial, evidence-based care using a collaborative, recovery approach and will be skilled at positive risk management. The role will involve managing a defined caseload with a focus on working with individuals over 25 who experience a First Episode of psychosis. Liaison with a wide range of agencies is central to the role.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Full registration with relevant AHPRA boards, or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers, or a health science or applied science bachelors degree in leisure, recreation or diversional therapy recognised by the Diversional Therapy Association of Australian National Council. Clinical Psychologists must have minimum postgraduate Masters in Clinical Psychology. Allied Health Professionals must have minimum experience at a Level 2 or equivalent. Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 must have relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years of experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in a minimum of two evidence-based practices (such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Action Commitment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, etc.).
- Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the assessment, formulation and treatment of psychosis and other Mental Health problems and family relationship issues.
- Relevant clinical Mental Health experience in a community setting which includes working with young people and their families.
- Demonstrated experience in managing consumers with a First Episode Psychosis..
