The Opportunity
Albury Wodonga Healtth HOPE (Hospital Outreach Post-suicidal Engagement) Program is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to be an integral part of the team and provide enhanced Mental Health services in this permanent full time position. Responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide clinical expertise within the HOPE service with respect to the provision of evidence based interventions and care coordination post suicide attempt, or suicidal ideation
- Provide interventions to the client and family members ofthose who are presenting with high levels of distress, suicidal ideation/attempt and complex psychosocial issues.
- Deliver evidence based brief interventions to clients and/or families / significant others
- Contribute to the review system to assess the clients’ progress and facilitate escalation of care if deterioration occurs
- Provide leadership and support to a diverse range of staff
