About the role
As our Clinician within the Maroondah PARC (MPARC) you will work collaboratively with the our partners Wellways Australia, the Consultant Psychiatrist, AMHS Rehabilitation Team Leader and Service Manager and other Senior Clinicians in MPARC to deliver a comprehensive community recovery oriented service and support to people with a mental illness, and their carers and families, between the ages of 16 and 64. About You:
We are seeking a dynamic clinician with Mental Health experience, who is highly motivated to support our consumers to achieve in their life.
To be successful in the role you will have:
- A recognised qualification in Mental Health nursing, social work, occupational therapy or psychology.
- Extensive experience in a clinical role within Mental Health services and a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice.
- Sound knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2022 and other relevant legislation
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team and autonomously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build meaningful connections with consumers and their families.
Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
