AddressWe are seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join the Community Mental Health Team on a fulltime basis (Monday to Friday) for a 3 month contract. The Mental Health Clinician will provide recovery focused clinical services including assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison and review as part of a multidisciplinary team for clients who are referred to the service with a mental illness, mental disorder or moderate-severe behavioural and psychological symptoms. As a clinician you will provide ongoing assessment, treatment and follow-up for consumers experiencing significant Mental Health challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers.
- Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex Mental Health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs.
- Function as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team, including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required.
- Prepare specialised reports as required.
About You
- Completed Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Nursing
- Current registration with AASW or AHPRA
- Experience in Community Mental Health
- Demonstrated experience working adults in a similar Mental Health service
Salary
- Casual Rates of $70 p/h + Super + Free Share Accommodation + Travel allowance .
