Voted no.1 Australian hospital by Medibank members 2 years in a row, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Sydney has multiple opportunities available for highly motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our USpace team. We are seeking casual, part time and full-time staff.
USpace is Australia’s first private Mental Health service, targeted to the needs of young adults aged 16 to 30. Within a purpose-built Mental Health facility with 20 single rooms, day services and on-site consulting suites, our mission is to promote the recovery and psychological wellbeing of young adults with severe and emerging Mental Health problems.

Your skills and experience:
Prior experience working with adolescences is an advantage.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice.
Excellent computer literacy and experience with electronic patient record system would be an advantage.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work within the interdisciplinary team.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing workloads with in a complex environment.

With an ability to put patients at ease, your warmth and care is one of your greatest attributes and you understand the importance of this in making a difference to those in need of Mental Health services.
Credentialed with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN); OR minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma Mental Health Nursing; OR undergraduate trained Mental Health Nurse (UK); OR trained and registered as a Psychiatric Nurse / Mental Health Nurse.
Minimum of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) Post Graduate experience in Mental Health in a primary health or specialist Mental Health setting undertaking comprehensive Mental Health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule.
Remuneration:
St. Vincent's Private Hospital Sydney Nurses' EA. Registered Nurse Year 1 – Year 8: $36.62 - $51.43 based on experience level and relevant qualifications + salary packaging + superannuation, exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
