Essential job duties and responsibilities
You shall be responsible for providing mental health support services to our clients in an immigration detention clinic. Key responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based mental health services
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Identify, assess and follow up persons at risk
- Contribute to the effective multidisciplinary health management
- Ensure that documentation is accurate, precise and concise
To be considered you must have the following:
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in Mental Health nursing
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a corrections, detention or remote nursing setting would be desirable
- Current ALS/BLS, Working with Children Certificate and Police Check (or willing to obtain)
- Live in Australia or New Zealand and have work rights
