About Us:
Our client is dedicated to providing high-quality Mental Health services across Australia. They specialise in supporting Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients seeking to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Their team of passionate professionals is committed to positively impacting the Mental Health and well-being of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Mental Health Assessments: Conduct comprehensive Mental Health assessments for DVA clients transitioning to the NDIS. Use standardised assessment tools to evaluate clients' Mental Health needs and functional capacities.
Telehealth Services: Provide Mental Health services via telehealth, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Maintain high standards of care and confidentiality in a virtual environment.
Report Writing: Use specialised report writing software to document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Ensure all reports are thorough, accurate, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Client-Centred Care: Develop individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Collaborate with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to implement and monitor these plans.
Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest developments in Mental Health care and telehealth services. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Compliance and Ethics: Adhere to all professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal requirements in the provision of Mental Health services. Ensure all practices comply with BAMH policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Accreditation: Must be an accredited Mental Health Occupational Therapist with current registration.
- Experience: Proven experience in conducting Mental Health assessments and working with clients with diverse Mental Health needs. Experience with DVA clients and the NDIS system is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using telehealth platforms and report writing software. Basic proficiency in using digital tools and maintaining electronic health records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage clients effectively in a virtual setting and produce clear, detailed reports.
