Assisting the Australian Defence Force in finding experienced, professional Mental Health Nurse interested in permanent or part-time employment, playing a critical role in providing health and support to patients involved in defence.
Location: Garden Island, WA
Multiple other locations available across Australia
The Role: 0.4 FTE 2 days per week
- Provide the highest level of nursing and medical screens to defence force personnel.
- Carry out triage and assessments
- Facilitate health promotion and education
- Update and manage patient clinical records and other computer based medical administration
- Full time, part time, permanent positions available
- Monday - Friday 0730 - 1600
- Multiple locations across most States and Territories

- AHPRA Registration level 1 or 2 - no restrictions
- Must be an Australian Citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain Australia Government Security Baseline Checks to initiate your Baseline Security Clearance
- Must have either; Qualification in Mental Health Nursing/ Bachelor of Nursing or a Mental health Trained Nurse
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in an acute health care setting within the last 5 years.
- Current CPR and other relevant mandatory training
- Up to date Serology reports including COVID-19 vaccination evidence
