THE ROLE

MindSpot Clinic is seeking motivated and enthusiastic candidates with AHPRA registration. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about delivering exceptional Mental Healthcare services to Australian patients via digital omni-channels e.g., telephone and secure messaging including psychological assessment, treatments, and referrals (where applicable). Develop skills in virtual delivery of Mental Health services, working with unique and varied populations.

Key Accountabilities (not limited to)

  • Provide high-quality and evidence-based and patient-centered online clinical services to Mindspot patients including psychological assessments and delivery of treatment courses.
  • Participate in the development, review and implementation of new and existing assessment and treatment courses.
  • Liaise and coordinate with relevant healthcare providers in relation to the provision of clinical care.
  • Enter and maintain patient data and records into MindSpot's electronic databases and medical systems.
  • Participate in periodical clinical reviews on service delivery, patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Comply with MindSpot and MQ Health's values, policies and procedures, Workplace Health and Safety, quality assurance, risk management policies and procedures.


About you

You will hold registration with AHPRA in any of the following disciplines: Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse or Social Worker. You are a caring professional who is passionate about embracing digital technologies to deliver accessible and high-quality patient centered clinical care across a range of Mental Health contexts and populations. You are able to work as a team player in a multidisciplinary team and have the ability to engage various stakeholders. You have excellent time management skills and a commitment to progress through the provisional registration pathway.

Clinic, www.mindspot.org.au), and a state-based virtual Mental Health service for GP referrals called MindSpot GP. These clinics serve more than 25,000 patients each year.

MindSpot operational hours are from 8am to 8pm EST Mon - Fri and 8am to 6pm EST on Sat. Full-time working hours are rostered over a 6-day week covering operation hours.

  • Passionate and professional individual with provisional/full registration with AHPRA.
  • Experienced in CBT treatment, risk assessments and intervention.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills in both verbal and written contexts.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement with a focus on evidence-based and patient-centered clinical practices.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workloads within established routines, methods and procedures.
  • Ability to collaboratively work within multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated teamwork with exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
