Highly skilled and motivated to improve the lives of the people you support through the provision of outstanding Mental Health care to visitors with complex Mental Health care needsAdditional attributes we are looking for include:
- Ability to work well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated flexibility, patience, initiative and emotional resilience.
- Strong communication and rapport building skills
- Prior experience in Mental Health, supporting or working with those who are disadvantaged in the community
- Confident to facilitate group work and also work 1:1 with visitors promoting a strength-based model.
This role works as part of our team of highly skilled Mental Health Workers and in collaboration with the Clinical Multidisciplinary Team, including Psychiatrists, a Psychologist and Nurses. consists of an 8 bed short term, 5 bed extended stay option and a day program. This role will deliver individualised recovery orientated care. As a Mental Health Worker you will enable rather than do, to promote independence, development and confidence of individuals. Our success will enable them to have the voice and choice to thrive in their local communities.In addition this role entails:
- Assessment of individuals with a Mental Health nurse to determine suitability for PARC
- Delivering strength based group content that is curated to the cohort of an ever-changing visitor group
- Developing collaborative risk management and mitigation plans
- Enhancing and promoting links with supports in the community, empowering connection
- Developing recovery goals and implementation steps to achieve set goals
- Supporting planning and review, directing support and exit planning
