About the role and you:
SEN is looking for a full time Merchandise Manager – Maternity Leave Cover for a 9-month fixed term contract. The role will primarily manage the retail, licensing and merchandise programs of the Perth Wildcats as well as other teams within the SEN business. The primary focus will be the day to day operations, management and marketing of the merchandise business, including in store service and sales, eCommerce, and merchandise management at all Perth Wildcats home games for the 2024/25 NBL Season.
The main duties include:
- Develop and grow the SEN Teams retail range and growth strategy
- Management of all retail product and uniform development, including purchasing and inventory control
- Management of all aspects of the retail e-commerce platform
- Management of all aspects of the Team Store including, point of sale platform, visual merchandising and customer service
- Management of game day merchandise outlets including event operations, sales and service delivery and marketing.
- Management of all merchandise casual staff
- Develop and execute marketing strategies for all sales channels
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant experience as a merchandise, retail or licensing manager
- Is action orientate and able to multi-task,
- Exceptionally well organised as well as having a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and is confident in dealing with customers, co-workers, and high level stakeholders
- A strong customer focus and experience in service delivery
- Enjoys sport and understands the level of commitment that comes with working at a sporting organization including weekends and out of business hours work
- Holds a valid driver’s license
