This is an exciting opportunity for an established Merchandise Planner to join an fast growing business, with a strong focus on culture and career development. This role will predominantly be based in the office, with onsite parking.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing regular analysis of trading and merchandise performance to relevant stakeholders. Provide commercial recommendations to drive sales and margin improvement.
- Ensure the OTB document is updated weekly and presented to the GM monthly.
- Be responsible for managing the stock process after a buy is submitted. Ensure stock is planned and allocated in the correct month to reflects the OTB.
- Work closely with the Merchandise Buyer to ensure accurate buys are submitted. Be aware of the Buying critical path, process, and deadlines.
- Present the Post Seasonal Analysis to Merchandise Buyer and GM half yearly. Provide Feedback and recommendations and ensure Buys reflect the analysis.
- Coordinate, assist and work together with internal and external parties to achieve business goals.
Skills and experience required:
- Strong apparel experience and a good eye for product
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Strong analytical and computer skills – AP21, TRS and Excel
- High attention to detail
- Sound negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong understanding of the local and international fashion market, in particular key competitors and trends
