The Role
Based in our Goondiwindi branch, you will become an integral member the Delta team in a role that will see you both on the local roads delivering merchandise to our valued clients as well as being a friendly face within our branch team.
You will have the exciting opportunity to support our existing clients and further develop a client base for the supply of a wide range of farm inputs including agchem, fertilizer, animal health, seasonal finance and general merchandise, along with promoting other services Delta offers in the market.
The opportunity
- Delivery of Rural Merchandise to clients directly on farms
- Managing administrative duties such as inventory management and invoicing
- Processing both cash and credit sales transactions
- Offering top-notch customer service and sales assistance for rural products
- Collaborating with the Branch Manager to uphold workplace safety protocols
- Aiding in the loading and unloading of trucks
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organisation standards in both the store and storage areas to ensure a superior presentation.
To be successful in this role you will:

- Have demonstrated experience in customer service and sales in a rural industry.
- Willingness to learn stock control and ordering processes.
- Be committed to make a positive contribution to our existing team. To listen, learn and contribute.
- Be enthusiastic, positive and willing to roll your sleeves up to get the job done.
- Hold a HR Licence (or be willing to obtain)
- Hold a forklift licence (or be willing to obtain).
