Want to be part of a privately-owned Australian company who is the major provider of quality automotive, marine and industrial batteries throughout Australia? This position is based in Arundel (Qld) and requires someone who wants to make their mark by being energetic and influential to successfully drive the business forward.
This position will suit a person who is hands on in the day to day practical operational activities within a store including a trade/retail counter.
Your primary responsibilities:
· Retail Sales and servicing of existing customers
· Maintaining and satisfying current customer base
· Warehouse, Freight & Delivery duties
· The development and execution of sales plans
· Ability to lift automotive batteries regularly
· Manage and responsible for inventory in vehicles
- Be willing to learn all aspects of our Battery Business
- Help to create sale prospects for your Branch
It is essential that you can demonstrate success in building customer relationships and generating significant sales within the Automotive Industry. A similar role within the battery industry or automotive industry would be advantageous but not essential. Similarly, previous experience in implementing Sales, Maintenance and Reliability improvements will also be very highly regarded.
We will provide you with on-the-job training regarding our product and services, and you will be required to work one (1) Saturday shift on a rotational basis.
Mon to Fri: 8am to 5pm, Sat: 8am to 12pm (Rotate)
Essential Requirements
- Open Driver Licence Required
- Forklift Licence
- Previous experience in a sales rep or product delivery role is an advantage
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skill
