About the role:
- As the NSW state representative in this newly created role, you’ll be the key point of contact between Rapid Hardware Group and Bunnings in-store and deliver great outcomes for both of us! You’ll be responsible for the stores in your network (dependent on where you live) elevating them to a level that sets the benchmark for all of NSW. Plus, you’ll work closely with Bunnings retail staff to drive influence, brand awareness, education, and visibility.
- In this hands-on role, you’ll:
- Manage our products to increase sales, monitor stock levels, display new products & ranges following planograms, support new product relays, and make sure price tags are correct.
- Look for and negotiate opportunities for our products to be sold on promotional ends and as drops.
- Facilitate in-store sales & marketing promotional programs that build engagement and product knowledge.
- Through a CRM, report on what you’ve done during the visit, any follow-up actions, what you’ve noticed about our competitors and send before and after photos.
- Keep up to date with what’s happening with in-store products, industry developments, opportunities/ challenges, and potential risks.
- Onboard and train the NSW Brand Ambassador team (this will happen in the coming months).
Skills and experience:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to create and maintain excellent retail staff working relationships.
- Get people excited and look for opportunities to drive sales and build brand awareness.
- Strong planning and coordinating skills.
About you:
- Current drivers’ licence and reliable car (you’ll receive $15,000 car allowance)
- Capacity to carry and lift to 16kgs and climb a step ladder.
- Previous experience in hardware or grocery merchandising would be great.
