Met Tech - 8:6 Roster (FIFO Perth or DIDO Geraldton)

K2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Metallurgical Technician for a WA mineral sands project.
  
This role will be on an 8:6 Roster roster with the opportunity to FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton.
  
Job Responsibilities:

• Daily sample collection, moisture analysis and data entry
• Collection and analysis of daily plant samples for optimisation test work using circuits, spiral separators and dry plant separators.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies on-site
• Stocktake of existing equipment.
• Assist with the day-to-day operation of the assay laboratory as required - Preparation of samples e.g., Crushing, riffle splitting and Pulverising samples.

Role Requirements:

• 3-5 years mine site experience in a Met Tech position
• Strong mineral processing experience, ideally in mineral sands however not essential
• Wet Plant Experience 
• Be willing to help with lab tech duties if required and a positive attitude towards team work
• Valid Manual Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance
• Hold full working rights in Australia without work restrictions
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
