Position Overview:-
Facilities Fix was established in 2005 and are recruiting Multiple Positions to build a brand new Metal Fabrication Team.
We are interested in applicants with multiple skills, experience and seniority and encourage applicants to apply.
The roles will be predominately workshop based but there will also be occasional site works for reactive maintenance and installations.
Positions we’re looking to fill include:-
- Boilermaker
- Welder
- Trade Assistant
- Leading hand / Foreman / Shop supervisor
- Junior (can be part time)
Your main responsibilities and duties will include:-
*duties will vary in accordance with position, experience and skill set
- Welding, Assembly and Finishing
- Read & understand technical drawings
- Quality Control
- General fabrication for various projects
- Site installation and maintenance
- Undertake general housekeeping duties within the workshop environment
- Adhere to WHS policies and procedures
Your experience, skill set and qualifications will include:-
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Trade Qualified - Cert III is preferred but not essential
- Experience within Metal Fabrication
- CAD & CNC machine works experience (if applying for Foreman position)
- Experience running a team is preferred but not essential (if applying for Foreman position)
- Must be able to read and understand workshop detail drawings
- Must be able to weld at a reasonable standard in all processes
- White Card is essential
- Forklift license is preferred but not essential
- EWP ticket is preferred but not essential
- Working at Heights certificate is preferred but not essential
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- A current NSW driver’s licence
Salary Range:- Hourly rate, dependent on position & experience level. Possible vehicle

Position Type:- Permanent Full Time, Permanent Residency required
