My client is a reputable AFR Top 50 firm with over 100 staff across all disciplines. As a business they offer encompassing services in accounting and advisory, wealth management, & lending. You will be working across a challenging and diverse portfolio (predominantly SME and middle market clients up to $100 mill in annual t/o).The firm has a very well-developed offshore team (They were early adopters of this model and have had this in place for over 10 years). Key duties include:- Review of income tax returns for all entities
- Provision of tax advice on issues such as FBT, Div7A, CGT, and GST
- Training, mentoring and delegating to junior and offshore team members
- Working with clients on future business decisions and advisory work including structuring, tax planning and tax strategies.
- Managing client relationships and in time assisting with the development of new business opportunities
The ideal candidate will posses:
- A relevant tertiary qualification along with a CA or CPA designation
- 5 + years relevant public practice experience and proven supervisory and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and confidence engaging closely with clients
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and an entrepreneurial spirit
- A desire to progress your career in a firm setting
