Grid Construction is a Western Australian commercial construction company who has been delivering specialised construction services to the mining, industrial construction and commercial construction industries for decades.

We are currently seeking a Metal Fabricator to join our team in Maddington in a full time position.

The successful applicant must have at least 2 years' experience as a boilermaker and with fabrication.

Duties will include:

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine job requirement
• Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
• Shaping and bending metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering
• Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
• Finishing products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions
• Cleaning and smoothing welds by filing, and grinding

A salary of $70,000 - $75,000 will be available to the successful applicant.
