We are currently seeking a number of positions available for Experienced Metal Fabricatorsto join a leading manufacturer of automatic doors. Based in Wetherill Park, these positions are for an immediate start working on 6.45am- 3.15pm, Monday to Friday, Paying $48 per hour.
As part of the team you will be involved in, however not limited to;
- Cutting steel aluminium to specifications
- Manufacture and assemble products and parts as directed by production supervisor
- Operate and maintain machinery and production equipment
- Quality checks and control of assembly products and removing any faulty products
- Occasionally assisting with delivery or collection of parts or finished products
- Completing pre-starts and compliance checks
- General manufacturing and production duties
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth workflow
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
To be successful in this position you must have the following;
- Previous experience/knowledge in metal fabrication or similar role
- Trade qualification in Metal work fabrication
- Forklift licence (favourable but not essential)
- C class licence and ability to drive manual
- High attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong focus on safety
- Physically fit
- Reliable and ability to commit Monday to Friday
