We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to contribute their expertise to our dynamic and cutting-edge environment. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine specifications for fabricating metal structures.
• Measure and mark metal according to specifications, utilizing various measuring and marking tools.
• Operate a range of hand and power tools, including grinders, saws, drills, and advanced welding equipment.
• Weld metal parts using gas and electric welding equipment, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• Cut, shape, and bend metal with precision using hand and power tools.
• Install and assemble intricate metal structures according to advanced engineering specifications, employing hand and power tools.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance with exacting specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, strictly adhering to all safety procedures and protocols.

Key Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of fabrication/welding techniques.
• Competent welding skills in accordance with organisational requirements.
• Demonstrated ability in fabrication techniques.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety Practices.
• Ability to complete works to the desired level of accuracy required with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Good communication, delegation & supervisory skills.
• Knowledge of industry best practices.
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Ability to identify & report workplace hazards.
• Trade Certificate.
