About the role
We are looking for a Meter Change Technician to carry out meter replacements, with a long-term view to carrying out various gas metering related activities in domestic and commercial settings in field-based locations.
The role has a starting salary package of $88,400 per annum, participation in a 10% bonus program, a tool of trade vehicle is provided, and the working hours are 7 am – 3 pm Monday – Friday.
Key Responsibilities include
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct investigations into inquiries and provide solutions with successful outcome
- Minimise any potential compliance gaps by adhering to safety standards for gas fitting and the integrity of the meter installation
About You
The successful applicant would be an experienced Plumbing tradesperson with gas industry experience, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- High analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive approach towards safety and excellent safe working practices
- Trade qualified Plumber
- Active Australian Drivers Licence
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White/Blue card)
