Mater are seeking a full-time qualified Sonographer for a permanent position in the Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine at the Mater Mothers Hospital.
Renowned as a leading specialist maternity hospital, the Mater Centre for Maternal Fetal Medicine provides a comprehensive range of obstetric ultrasound services and acts as a tertiary referral centre for Queensland and northern NSW for complex cases and fetal therapy.
Salary range: $67.84 - $70.77 (HP5) per hour plus superannuation and upt0 $15,900 salary packaging
What you'll be doing
As a Mater professional, you will be part of a team of experienced sonographers who will assist you to develop your skills to perform high quality, diagnostic O&G ultrasound examinations. The role also involves, after upskilling, teaching ultrasound skills to new staff and medical officers as required.
About you
We are looking for a keen and enthusiastic sonographer with O&G imaging experience who wants to expand their O&G ultrasound skills to the next level with support and mentorship. Requirements are:
- ASAR accredited post graduate qualification in medical ultrasound
- Accreditation with ASAR as a Medical Sonographer
- Experience in obstetrical and gynaecological ultrasound examinations
- Effective communication, initiative, and willingness to learn to maximise patient care
- Ability to learn and work as a team member within a multi-disciplinary health care team
