AddressJoin our team as a Microsoft Pre-Sales & Project SME in our Sydney office! In this dynamic role, you'll be instrumental in delivering and improving our sales and delivery process. Working closely with clients and sales teams to understand their needs and provide essential technical and business support. Your responsibilities will include identifying and addressing client challenges, crafting proposals and ensuring deployment of solutions meet client requirements.
This is a hands-on as well as architecture role, you have to know and be able to do the work you are scoping as you will be called on to assist or upskill others in the delivery team when not creating the best possible solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction through the delivery of the highest quality pre-sales support.
- Assisting the sales team with pre-sales activities including the development of technology solutions and proposals.
- Providing pre-sales technical support for the development of networking, security, and cloud solutions
- Conducting user requirement analysis and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products/services.
- Generation of technical design, building a bill of materials and solution offering based on Microsoft products and services
- Providing demonstrations, presentations, consultation and sales support services for the Sales team and clients
- Undertaking tasks requiring technical analysis, diagnosis, and solution design, qualifying the product/service fit and defining support needs.
- Assisting with Post-Sales support and implementation where required.
About You:
- Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills in both technical and user-level conversations about technology.
- Previous experience in a technology engineering capacity including problem solving for at least 5 years.
- Ability to generate, propose and present technical solutions.
- A proven ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience in a way that is easy to understand.
- Qualified in a variety of Microsoft products and technical capabilities
- An Australian permanent resident and holder of a current NSW drivers license
Experience :
- Developing migration plans of legacy systems to Modern Workplace platforms
- Migration of mail to Exchange Online (M365 tenant to tenant, Google to M365, Exchange on-premise to M365)
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager for Windows and Mobile devices (Intune, Autopilot, App packaging, Azure AD)
- SharePoint (Dropbox, Google Drive and other cloud storage providers to SharePoint and on-premise file share/NAS migrations to SharePoint)
- OneDrive
- Teams and Teams Calling
- Azure services (Azure Compute, networking, storage, AVD, data factory and direct services)
- Knowledge of M365 licenses
- Virtualization and cloud hosting (e.g., Microsoft Azure).
- WAN, LAN, Internet services and wireless LAN technologies, network services in a managed service provider environment.
- Network security such as firewalls and unified threat management
- Broadband, ISP, and mobile service provider network architecture and design.
- Methodologies for Migration of Servers and data and their requirements
