As a Software Engineer, you will join the wider Corporate Operations Group and be part of the Identity and Cyber Security - Identity Access Management team. You will take end-to-end ownership of your product in a modern DevOps culture. You'll be responsible for architecture, design, development, testing and operations and deliver incrementally in iterative cycles. You will have an Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies.
To be successful in this role you are or will need to have:
- Experience in working with a team of engineers, working in an Agile and DevOps environment
- Experience working in cloud computing environments (AWS preferred) at scale
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket and other version control systems
- Experience in writing Unit Tests (e.g., Junit)
- Strong programming and problem-solving skills with at least one general purpose programming language, Java preferred
- Expert knowledge and experience with API design and development (SpringBoot)
- Experience in designing highly available and fault tolerant system in AWS/GCP
- Experience on coding with either RDMBS or NoSQL database/cache
- Strong sense of ownership, self-motivated and able to self-manage work
- Strong troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving ability
- Experience with cloud and DevOps technologies AWS (CLI, EC2, S3, RDS), Cloud Formation, Terraform
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools, in particular using Atlassian products Bitbucket/Bamboo/Jira etc.
- Experience in using Unix and Windows consoles (e.g., Bash and PowerShell)
- Experience in SailPoint, or similar Access Management tool desirable
- Experience in writing automation tests (e.g., Acceptance Testing, Integration Testing, UI Testing)
