Mid Azure Engineer

About the Organisation:

Established in the 1970s with a single shop, our client has since expanded to encompass 30 retail outlets and is rapidly growing.

Currently undergoing significant transformation, with a strong focus on digital and technology.

The Role:

• Mid-Level Full Stack Developer plays a pivotal role in advancing development initiatives.
• Responsibilities include designing, constructing, testing, and deploying solutions.
• Collaboration with the Application Development Lead is crucial for aligning software solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, Visual Studio, and SQL Server for application development.
• Design, develop, and deploy services hosted in Azure Cloud, primarily utilizing .NET Core and C#.
• Leverage React framework and TypeScript for developing and maintaining serverless web applications.
• Identify and resolve issues across various development phases, including testing, post-deployment, and production.
• Contribute to breaking down larger tasks into smaller ones and provide estimations.
• Ensure system performance and reliability through optimization and rigorous testing.

About You:

• Seeking individuals experienced in full stack development.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in C# (.NET Core).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with Entity Framework or similar ORM tools (e.g., Dapper).
• Competency in React and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles application.
• Exposure to Azure environment or other cloud development platforms.
• Industry experience.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with WPF and .NET framework development is highly regarded.
• Proficiency in ASP MVC 5.0.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Expertise in automated UI testing, preferably with Playwright, and unit testing, preferably with xUnit, is advantageous.

Fixed Term Contract (6-12 Months) with a possibility of extension for a minimum 2-year project.

On-site presence required 3 days a week in the Olympic Park area.

Salary Range: $120K-$140K+Super
