You are someone who’ll:
We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives and/or dually qualified Registered Nurses/Midwives to join our dedicated and supportive team in the maternity ward.
As Registered Nurse/Midwife you will be responsible for providing safe and quality nursing care in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia registration standards, the RN Competency standards and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Professional Practice Guidelines and to practice and promote continuous improvement and a culture of learning and evidence-based practice.
These are rostered positions working a variety of shifts throughout the week and may be offered on a permanent full-time, part-time or on a casual basis where all hours are negotiable.
Registered Midwives with dual registration will be highly regarded.
The successful candidate will have:
A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills relevant to obstetrics and womens' health.
Sound interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer focus
Ability to work flexibly within a team environment.
Ability to organise workloads, prioritise, delegate and meet timelines,
Knowledge of and experience in risk management and quality improvement
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Basic computer literacy.
