Long running stock feed producer that supports Aussie ag families through everything they do. They have a strong senior leadership team that truly cares that everyone gets home safe every day.
They run a large operation and are therefore looking for an additional leader in one of their mills.
The Role
As Mill Manager you'll oversee a wide array of day-to-day functions including:
- Operations Management
- Scheduling, staff, maintenance, routine activities, support to Logistics
- Inventory Management
- Oversee activities and training of Mill Staff
- Budget Management and cost reporting
- Ensure product is manufactured in accordance with FeedSafe requirements
- Systems / Practices & Processes
- Rostering (month in advance)
- Conduit between Scheduling and Miller teams
- DIFOT
- Safety Management and team engagement
- Ensure HSEQ requirements are met in the workplace
- Perform correct milling procedures including batching of grains and additives
to a customer formulation mix.
- Daily Summary of Mill Performance
- Any other tasks as requested by the Operations Manager
- Delivery in full on time (DIFOT)
- Reduce costs (waste, labour,etc) through innovation and cost reduction
programs without compromise to people and product safety, promoting LEAN
& Site Docs
- Identify opportunities for staff training and development addressing all
safety, quality and performance opportunities for improvement

- Strong history within stockfeed/food/milling production management
- Strong people management skills
- Adept skills with organizational efficiency
- Full Drivers License
- Full working rights within Australia
