Business Development Manager – Exciting Opportunity in the Australian Market

Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities. Your responsibilities will include fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and strategically expanding our presence in the region. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Excellence: Drive sales of high-end ventilation, sun protection, and outdoor products to selected dealers. Additionally, promote our client products to high-end architects.
- Market Research: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through thorough market research and prospecting.
- Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with existing customers, key decision-makers, and industry influencers to generate indirect sales.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and the Regional Manager to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to drive continuous improvement.
- Local Marketing: Actively participate in planning and implementing local marketing campaigns, including social media, offline marketing, and local exhibitions & conferences.
- University Degree: Preferably in (commercial) engineering or architectural studies, with a strong understanding of technical products.
- Sectorial Experience: Minimum 3 years in B2B sales of high-end and innovative products.
- Networking Skills: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial attitude with a hunter mentality.
- Thrive in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to excel in a fast-paced and target-driven setting.
- Knowledge of the Australian Business Landscape: A plus.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Driver’s License: A must.
- Work Arrangement: Home office-based with frequent travel within the NSW – QLD - VIC region.
- Weekly Schedule: Typically involves 4 days of visiting at least 3-4 relations per day and 1 day of home office activities. Monthly, we count on 48 significant visits.
