Mimili is a beautiful Anangu community set in the APY Lands, a short drive from the Stuart Highway. We’re seeking a passionate and adventurous primary and middle years teacher for our 5/6 class. You’ll be looking to make a real difference in the lives of our students and teachers, and to form lasting connections with our small, yet welcoming community. What you will bring:
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and to be positive and extremely flexible
- Ability to develop respectful reciprocal relationships with Anangu Educators
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Require a willingness to take on new learning and pedagogies to suit a wide range of learners is essential.

Special Requirements:
Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the APY Lands, as per the local Aboriginal Community Council (APY - Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara Executive Board)
To ensure employer compliance of duty of care responsibilities given the unique environment of the APY Lands, a wellness check will be conducted for any teacher nominated for this position and prior to any offer of employment.
