AddressSMA are excited to recruit for a full time patient transport driver to work out of our Minchinbury base in Sydney.
Your new role:
- You will be responsible for safely transporting patients between appointments, hospitals and other facilities
- Working as a team with the clinician you will assist patients with mobility issues including using stretchers
- Rotating rosters involving early mornings and late evenings. Majority of shifts are 8 hours and weekdays only
- Option for additional first aid work at events when it comes up
- You have a positive attitude and thrive working in team environment
- You consider yourself excellent at communicating
- You are determined to make a positive impact in the health industry and have an ongoing commitment to maintaining policy and procedure
- You are able to operate autonomously and are reliable
- Unrestricted drivers license with a clean driving record. Ideally you hold a light rigid or above as some of our work involves a baraiatric vehicle. This is highly desirable however not essential
- Ideally you hold a certificate 3 in NEPT however this is not essential to be successful for the role
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- National police check dated within 6 months
- Working with children check for paid employment
- Mask Fit certificate
- Full category A immunisation history including 3x COVID and annual influenza
