AddressSMA are excited to recruit for a full time Patient Transport driver to work out of our of Sydney bases – Minchinbury and Taren Point.
Your new role:
- Working across both Minchinbury and Taren Point you will be responsible for safely transporting patients between appointments, hospitals and other facilities
- Working as a team with a clinician you will assist patients with mobility issues including using stretchers and ensure vehicles are kept clean
- Rotating rosters involving early mornings and late evenings. Majority of shifts are 8 hours across Monday-Friday
- Option for additional first aid work at ad hoc events
- You have a positive attitude and thrive working in team environment
- You consider yourself excellent at communicating
- You take pride in your grooming and personal presentation
- You are determined to make a positive impact in the health industry and have an ongoing commitment to maintaining policy and procedure
- You are able to operate autonomously and are reliable
- You MUST have minimum a light rigid drivers license as some of our shifts involve our bariatric vehicle. A clean driving record dated within 3 months is also required
- Ideally you hold a certificate 3 in NEPT however this is not essential to be successful for the role
- Ideally you have some experience in the healthcare industry however this is not essential
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- National police check dated within 6 months
- Working with children check for paid employment
- Mask Fit certificate
- Full category A immunisation history including 3x COVID and annual influenza
