ABOUT THE JOB...
2024 is going to be a year of massive growth for MSCS at Coburn Mineral Sands Mine, which is located near Shark Bay in WA (approx. 3hr drive north of Geraldton).
We’re looking to bolster our Production Mining and Load & Haul crews with Mobile Plant Operators with experience on a couple of the following pieces of equipment:
- Dozers – D6-D11
- Diggers – PC1250, or other models up to 90t
- Graders – 14, 16
- Scrapers – 637, 657
WHAT WE OFFER...
Thanks to our multi-year contract at Coburn mine, we can offer you long-term, secure, and stable employment on a permanent contract.
The camp facilities are less than 12 months old and includes a gym, wet and dry mess, and onsite shop.
Rates, rosters and all that stuff:
- $57.12/hr + $2.93/hr retention bonus!
- 2:1 roster – Days only
- Permanent contract
- Weekly pay cycle
- Full 12 hour day paid for mobe-in
Mobilisation:
FIFO from Perth to Geraldton and then shuttle bus to site. Mine site airstrip is being constructed in 2024!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- Relevant operator tickets
- Minimum 2 years and 1000 operating hours
- Australian drivers licence
- National Police Check (or able to obtain)
Australian or NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency is essential - visa sponsorship is not available
