Our NSW Government client is hiring for a highly capable Mobile Application Developer to join their organisation. By Joining the Digital Portfolio Team this role helps build and maintain services used across the division, by working in a team designing development and support of customised software solutions.
Role Title: Mobile Applications Developer
Contract Length: Till 28/06/2024 with a chance of extension
Pay: $861 + Super per day.
Location: Parramatta, 2150 (2 days in office)/WFH Hybrid
Role Requirements:
- Developing applications for mobile devices powered by Android and Apple's iOS operating system following standard coding practices.
- Analyse the requirements and propose the best possible solutions.
- Developing new features and user interfaces from wireframe models.
- Develop APIs for mobile functionality support and better user performance.
- Ensuring the best performance and user experience of the application.
- Fixing bugs and performance problems.
- The successful candidate must be a self-motivator and have the ability to pick up the latest technologies while still maintaining focus on delivery.
- Following Agile & Lean methodologies, you must embrace change, be responsive to business needs and be able to work with information as it evolves and acknowledge that re-work is an essential part of finding the best solution.
- Being able to deliver in a timely fashion is essential.
- Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing in the store(s).
- Proven +3 years of work experience as a Mobile App Developer or Software Developer.
- Portfolio of successfully released mobile apps on the app store.
- Deep knowledge of the mobile platforms like Android, IOS.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Objective-C, iOS SDK.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON and mobile libraries for networking,
- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns-MVP, MVC, MVVM, and Clean Architecture-and the ability to choose the best solution for the app.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences.
- Experience with profiling and debugging Mobile Applications.
- Ability to contribute to design, test, release and application support.
