Mobile Attendant Care Service (MACS) is a non-profit, charitable organisation that operates in the Brisbane community. We provide short duration drop-in support for people with physical disabilities, we assist our clients with daily living activities to enhance their comfort and lifestyle, primarily throughout the night when often other supports are unavailable.
To set the benchmark standard of services, we seek likeminded Care Workers that uphold and represent our core values of providing support that is reliable, flexible and responsive.
Drop-in Support
Join our drop-in support team that operates throughout the night from 5pm – 6am to provide anytime support to clients on a planned or unplanned basis. Shifts range from 5pm-midnight, 5pm-2am, 8pm-2am, 9.30pm-6am. All shifts start from our Headquarters in Kedron and involve a lot of driving.
Qualifications and experience
- A qualification in community services/disability/individual support is preferable.
- Ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties – and be happy for this to be part of your job.
- Current Australian Drivers License.
- NDIS Orientation Module
- NDIS Worker Screening (yellow card).
- First Aid / CPR, or willingness to obtain within 1 month of employment.
- High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude while acting with integrity, honesty and respect.
