THE ROLE
The primary role of a Mobile Cleaner within Hospitality Services is the provision of a range of cleaning duties to designated facilities as directed by the hospitality team leaders.
Permanent part-time role | 9am to 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday | 2 positions on offer!
Key responsibilities
Undertake specialized and programmed cleaning tasks as per facility schedules, this includes:
- Cleaning all surfaces, floors, furniture etc. in bathrooms, kitchens, service areas, dining rooms, client rooms, villas, community areas, offices and any Amana Living site
- Deep cleaning of carpets
- Deep cleaning of hardwood floors
- Deep cleaning of bathroom tiles etc.
- Cleaning of windows where appropriate
- Deep cleaning of soft furnishings, including furniture and curtains
- Laundry duties as allocated
The successful candidate must possess good time management and communication skills, responding to requests for remedial cleaning within 2 working hours and scheduled to be completed within 48 hours.
Competencies & Behaviours
- Previous experience (2yrs+) working in hospitality / commercial cleaning roles
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- High level of customer service orientation
- Experienced working with cleaning equipment, cleaning schedules and chemicals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of aged care industry standards and guidelines (desirable)
- Evidence of COVID-19 and 2022 Flu vaccinations
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
- Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
- Class C drivers' licence
