We have 2+ positions available.
Roadsmart Fleet – Steel River (Dunlop Super Dealer) at Mayfield West is a purpose built Car and Truck Centre - servicing cars, trucks, forklift/industrial and earth moving, with 3 mobile service trucks working across the Newcastle and Greater Hunter region.
If you are a qualified and experienced mobile Tyre Fitter, that is keen to join a growing and progressive family owned company, and have the relevant experience, we would love to hear from you.
We offer an HIGH hourly rate (for the right person) and increased earning potential with overtime opportunities plus allowances. We offer nationally accredited courses for career progression. We work with major national clients such as Linfox, Cleanaway, Newcastle Transport, McGrath Transport, Solo Waste and a number of other Newcastle based transport companies.
On-Call work is a must (paid an on-call rate)
Overtime availability is a MUST.
The possibility of a casual position might be an option if you don't want to work fulltime however we are looking for FULLTIME.
Preferred experience/ qualifications:
- Demonstrate a min 1 yrs experience in car & truck fitting.
- Forklift/industrial & earth moving tyre fitting, service and tyre management would be an advantage.
- Diagnosing and assessing tyre damage and wear.
- Diagnosing wheel balance problems and balancing wheels.
- Car & light commercial wheel alignments.
- Selecting correct tyres, tubes, rims and accessories.
Successful applicant must:
- Hold full current Drivers Licence and demonstrate a good driving record.
- Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Have good time management skills.
- Take pride in a job well done.
- Supply suitable contactable personal and previous employment references.
- Be required to complete a pre-employment medical and/or drug test and supply a criminal background check.
