SalaryFounded in 2017, Axis Mineral Services Pty Ltd (‘Axis’) specialise in crushing & ore sorting services for all requirements in Mining, Milling, Processing and Civil applications. Axis are currently running crushing circuits, ROM Management and general site works operations across a number of projects in the Goldfields regions, within the Mining and Civil Construction sectors.
We have opportunities for experienced Mobile Crushing Fitters to join our rapidly growing business in both FIFO and residential positions, based in Kalgoorlie and the Northern Goldfields.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Trade Qualified as Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic;
- Terex, Finlay, CAT and Komatsu experience preferred;
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and air systems;
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to work safely;
- Experience working in a mining environment;
- Good time management and work prioritisation skills;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Current Drivers licence;
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical; and
- Have or be able to obtain a National Police Check
Responsibilities of the role:
- Complete scheduled repairs including component change outs and preventative maintenance;
- Perform inspections to assess and scope defects accurately and timely;
- Complete tasks efficiently, use initiative and seek opportunities to improve practices and reduce costs; and
- Work and communicate effectively with other team members to prioritise tasks and achieve deadlines.
