MOBILE FLEET MAINTENANCE – SERVICEPERSON
Fosterville Gold Mine invites suitably qualified and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Serviceperson. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for performing planned maintenance of equipment in accordance with site procedures and maintenance sheets.Reporting to the Mobile Fleet Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Completion of OEM based services, daily inspections and greasing, defect capture and repairs
- Workshop servicing and repairs as well as underground servicing and repairs
- Maintaining high levels of safety and environmental standards
- Accurate reporting of defects found and completion of maintenance records via Pronto
- Ensuring workshop tooling and standards are maintained
- Working to trade standards within the department
- Acting in accordance with site standards policies and procedures
- High quality of work completing servicing and repairs (surface and underground)
- Promote safety and environmental management practices
- Operating Integrated Tool Carrier (IT)
- Operating Light Vehicle
The successful candidate should possess the following:
- Valid manual Drivers Licence
- Heavy Vehicle License (preferred, but not essential)
- First Aid Level 2 Training (preferred, not essential)
- Previous heavy vehicle servicing history (preferred, but not essential)
The roster for this residential position will be 8/6 days only.
A competitive rate will be offered in line with the relevant classification contained in the Fosterville Enterprise Agreement 2021.
