Proudly Australian, with over 30 years in the business Pirtek specialises in mobile "onsite" service and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings.Two opportunities exist as we look to grow and develop the business.
Pirtek Adelaide requires a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join their team as a Mobile Fitter or Mobile Hose Technician as we like to call them and we also have a role in the workshop as a Centre Technician. THE ROLE
As a Mobile Fitter you will be expected to deliver consistent, accurate, high quality service to your customers. You will become a passionate and energetic team member with excellent skills in communication. The job will challenge you to provide solutions and build relationships with a varying range of customers - calling on customers when you are not in the field servicing or repairing plant and machinery is required. As part of the position you will need to be available to participate in a 24 hour on call roster split between the other technicians. You will also be responsible for developing, building and maintaining relationships with your group of key customers, both new and existing.

The Centre Technician requires a similar skill set to a Mobile Fitter and is based in the workshop. Dealing with customers that come in, and providing support to Mobile Fitters as required, this role is a great opportunity to develop into a Mobile Fitter in time and gain solid experience in hose making.
ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this position you will have:
- Ideally a mechanical trade or equivalent experience
- An underlying level of urgency balanced with strict attention to detail
- The ability to think on your feet and solve problems under pressure
- Good numeracy, verbal and written skills
- A current Driver's Licence (for Mobile Fitter role -MR preferable but not essential)
- Some flexibility in working hours as after hours availability is a pre-requisite for mobile service work.
