Accounting Graduate - Accounts Payable

Located in Blacktown is an excellent opportunity to join this well-established business supplying and servicing heavy earth moving equipment for their clients in the construction, engineering and mining industries.About the Role
Reporting to the CFO you will provide accurate accounting support to the senior accountant, preparing company journal entries, keeping the balance sheet updated and assisting with monthly account closings.
Your duties will include but not be limited to the following

• Responsible for Accounts Payable related duties including vendor creation, supplier payment and receipts recording
• Responsible for Intercompany related duties including invoices, payment record, reconciliation
• Employee expenses reports (including petty cash fund) -processing of payment and receipts to recording expenses
• Cash forecast for disbursement, GRIR clearing
• Following up on approval/disputed invoices and PO's
• Other ad hoc finance/general admin duties as required

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 1-2 years of working experience
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to problem solve
• SAP knowledge will be an advantage but not essential
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
