SalaryOur Laverton workshop are seeking qualified Mobile Plant Technicians to bring their skills and passion to the team.
These are full-time permanent positions offering family friendly flexible rosters:
you could work either 7 x 7 (Wed to Tues - 6am to 6pm) or 5 x 2 (Mon - Fri - flexible start times from 6am).
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all types of Caterpillar equipment and components.
Your typical day will look a little like this:
- Starting your day off in a Cats meeting, discussing safety & new topics
- Trouble-shooting, repairing and maintenance of Cat equipment and their components; hydraulics, transmissions and engines
- Compiling and completing accurate reporting
- Working as a team to manage your time and maximise efficiency
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Work alongside a high performing team, who are passionate about the gear they work on
You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:
- A fully qualified certificate III in Mobile Plant with practical experience
- Previous experience working on Cat machinery (great to have)
- A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures
- A proactive and positive attitude, with strong work ethic
- Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
- A base rate of up to $48 per hour (dependent on roster & skill level) + Tool Allowance + Leave Loading + Super
