We are seeking a Mobilisation and Compliance Officer to join our team on an 8&6 basis (8 days on, 6 days off). This is a full-time position, based in our Belmont head office.

About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Mobilisation and Compliance Officer to join our dedicated Planning team at Norwest Crane Hire. Reporting to the Planning Manager and working closely with field employees and the Port Hedland team, you will be responsible and accountable for the seamless mobilisation of employees, ensuring that all compliance is coordinated in an organised and timely fashion in accordance with Norwest and Client requirements. Your duties will include but not be limited to
- Ensuring timely planning and co-ordination of medical and Drug & Alcohol tests (including booking)
- Accurate recording of all compliance requirements; including inductions, qualifications, licences, training, etc.
- Issuing all mobilisation information to employees including flights and accommodation
- Preparing and accurately maintaining the Company’s roster system
- Relationship management with key internal and external stakeholders / client contacts
- Liaising with the Client/s to supply compliance documentation
- Work closely with management with accurate, timely and succinct communication of key issues
To be successful for this role you must possess the following:
- 2+ years in a similar mobilisation role within the resourcing or shutdown industry
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office Suite
- Experience with rostering systems, deemed advantageous
- High level of attention to detail
- Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Strong ability to prioritise your workload, utilising effective time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of people
- Working with a very high volume of mobilisation of workforce employees within a fast turnaround timeframe
- Ability to adapt to the rescheduling of shut downs and roster changes
- Assist with procedural compliance
- Inspect & assess working areas for the presence of safety hazards & non-compliance
- Complete incident statement forms and related documents for investigations.
- Provide general safety support and advice when required
- Ensure compliance is maintained with safety documents
The position is full time and is available for an immediate start for the appropriate candidate.
