About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobility Coordinator to join our QTMP Team in Hervey Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and delivering the entire project team and workforce logistics demands, including the direct interface with the Construction Camp operation, management of travel bookings, coordinating short and long term accommodation requirements, providing relocation assistance to employees, and offering ad-hoc administrative support to the Project Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of staff mobility for the Project, including flights, ground transportation, and itinerary planning.
- Oversee the accommodation needs of the project, including camp reservations, room assignments, and related logistics.
- Provide comprehensive support to employees who are relocating, assisting with moving logistics, sourcing suitable long-term housing, and adjusting to the new environment.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support to Project Managers, including document reviews, preparation, data entry, and meeting coordination.
- Maintain organized records of all travel, accommodation, and relocation arrangements, ensuring that all details are accurate and up to date.
- Liaise with travel agencies, accommodation providers, and relocation services to ensure smooth operations and cost-effective solutions.
- Address and resolve any travel, accommodation, or relocation issues that may arise, providing excellent customer service to team members.
- Assist with the development and implementation of travel and relocation policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Provide succinct communication to project manager, commercial team, subcontract representatives, client and external vendors as required
- Perform all duties in accordance with JH policies, processes, reporting, systems and procedures
- Respond to and address governance items in relation to the staff and workforce accommodation matters.
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction or related industry, with experience in providing relocation assistance.
- Strong Communicator: Able to convey information clearly and effectively to a diverse range of people, both verbally and in writing.
- Organized: Exhibits excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of technology for travel and accommodation bookings, as well as general office software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound experience in the development and application of process and procedures, with a demonstrated performance of optimisation.
